Team Registrations

Registration will begin 1 hour before first game

Roster

Each roster may have a maximum of six players on a team.  A team must have a minimum of two field players to compete.  There are no goalkeepers.  Roster changes must be made prior to the team's first game.  A player may not play on more than one team in the same age group during the tournament.

Uniforms

All players must wear matching jersey/shirt with a unique number on the back during play.  Home team is the team listed first on the schedule.  Home team is required to change jersey/shiert or wear pinnies in the event there is a color conflict.

Fields

All games will be played on TURF fields.  Fields will be approximately 25 yards wide by 35 yards long.  All fields will utilize PUG goals and marked with corner markers and sideline cones.

Substitutions

Substitutions may be made on any dead ball situation regardless of the team in possession at the discretion of the referee.  Teams must get referees attention and permission to substitute before entering the field of play.  All substitutes must enter and exit at midfield.  There are no substitutions on the fly.

Offsides

There will be no offsides.

Game Duration

All games shall consist of two 12-minute halves separated by a 2-minute half time period.  Teams must report to their scheduled field no less than five minutes before scheduled start of game.  Home team will be given the kick-off at the beginning of the game.  Away team will be given the kick-off to start the second half.  There are no timeouts.  Game clock will be kept on field by referee.  The game clock does not stop during the game unless determined by referee or tournament director.

Number of Players on Field

Each team will play with a maximum of three players on the field at one time.  If one team is winning by ten or more goals, the losing team may add an additional player.  Once the score difference drops below ten goals, the losing team will go back to three players.  A team must play with a minimum of two players.  Any team unable to field a team within five minutes of start time will forfeit the match.

Five Yard Rule

The defending players must stand at least five yards away in any dead ball situations.  If the defending players is within five yards the ball shall be placed five yards from the goal area in line with the location of the penalty.

Goal Area

There is an imaginary two-yard arch in front of each goal.  No player is to touch the ball inside of the arch.  A defending the ball inside the goal arch will result in a goal.  An attacking player touching the ball within the goal arch will result in a goal kick.

Scoring

All goals must be scored from the attacking half of the field.  All dead ball kicks including kick-ins, free kicks and kick-offs are indirect with the exception of corner kicks and penalty kicks. 

Kick-Ins

Ball will be returned to play after going out of bounds on a sideline with a kick-in from the spot the ball crossed the sideline.  Ball will be returned to play after going out of bounds on an endline with a goal kick or corner kick depending on the last player to touch the ball.

Penalty Kicks

The penalty kick shall be awarded at the referees discretion when a scoring opportunity was nullified by the foul (the foul not automatically result in a red card).  The penalty kick is taken from the center of midfield with all players behind the midfield line.  This is a dead ball kick.  If a goal is not scored the defending team takes possession with a goal kick.
